typhoon tracker

hi guys, as most of you may know, our family is now a-ok! :) so much kwento, may nakakaiyak, may nakakatawa. my brothers are living with us in the meantime so fun dito sa bahay. :)

anyway, i already tweeted about this. i found this website which is a useful tracker for upcoming storms and typhoons. alam ko, meron naman tayong PAG-ASA. but if you want to check the status of storms regularly, you can visit www.tropicalstormrisk.com. it shows wind speeds, and paths of the storms/ typhoons.

just to give you an update, here's the status of typhoon pepeng (in

ternational name, PARMA). compare it with ondoy, hindi dadaan sa atin (yay!), but while within the philippine area of responsibility, it will be twice or thrice the strength as that of ondoy. i am just not sure about the rainfall. winds naman talaga ang measured in terms of strength. still, let us all take the necessary precautions. visit the website para mas ma-appreciate niyo. bring out your inner meteorologist! :) here's a screen-cap for easy comparison of ondoy and pepeng:
