last monday, my friends karen, elaine, ai, hun and i managed to pull off our first wedding project! it was kuya omar and ate yolly's 10th year anniversary as a civily-wed couple, but this time, they are now bound by God's love.Ü
it was a challenge because it was our first, it took barely 6 months to plan, and we were working on a budget. that's why i'm so glad that it was a success! there were some hitches of course, there's no such thing as a perfect event anyway.

i was also on a high 'coz the choir sang beautifully (according to karen, yey, thanks!!!). hunny's solo of panalangin ng pagiging bukas palad was so malamig i could've fallen asleep. though lacking an alto, love is the answer and true love sounded alright. :) i was on a particular high when lance and i did our rendition of the prayer by josh groban and charlotte church. if not for minor microphone glitches, it would have sounded really great. i also did a solo of panunumpa.
what i appreciate most about this is that i was reunited with my longtime barkada. i met these wonderful girls at zone 3 choir. unfortunately, i was the only one left active. so ever since this project started in july, i was regularly meeting them.
this project is actually just a test on whether or not we can actually do wedding coordination. my evaluation, maybe, a few more weddings to practice on and we're ready. but whose wedding to practice on? hmmm...
