oh happy day?

i am literally in tears right now... waah!!! tomorrow is our "wash day" at the office, where there is a theme, and you have to follow that theme or else you pay a certain amount of money. i blogged about this a few months back, remember the necktie day? well, it's now a company-wide thing, but done only every fridays. anyway, tomorrow (or later rather) is "religious shirt day". ang hirap! medyo hindi na ok to wear ang aking choir shirt. :( and so i thought, why not just imitate the outfit of sister mary robert in sister act. well, black sleeveless over a white shirt lang naman ang gagawin ko, pero puede na yun. imitation of a catholic school uniform na rin. puede na. papasa na yun. may presentation kasi kami tomorrow, so i also have a reason. :)

the reason why i'm crying is that i was confirming the idea of sister mary robert's outfit in my head by browsing through youtube videos of sister act. i watched each video clip with their performances and i am very very touched. sobrang namiss ko kumanta sa simbahan!!! iyak ako ng iyak. i played the videos twice, sang with the sisters, and especially loved the descant with sister mary robert (hail holy queen performance). i miss being a soprano and reaching ultra high notes! hay, i'm so so so sad! :(



i also browsed through the performances in the sequel, di ko yun napanood e, but naiyak talaga ako dun sa "oh happy day". my gulay. ano ba, ang ganda!



its really sad that my beloved choir, the zone 3 choir, actually, no longer exists. :( they have disbanded just recently, due to lack of active members. :( i have been with z3c for 13 years before we had to move. :( i miss those days. it is such an honor to sing for Him during masses. i really feel a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment everytime i sing for Him. z3c will always have a special place in my heart. my really good friends are part of that group, and i met my fiance there. we grew up there, and had really good times (in tune or not, haha). i miss you guys!!! naiiyak talaga ako!
