back in good old UP

my first day on the manager's course started today, shucks, i'm a student once again! it felt weird, but at the same time, it's a bit exciting. i even bought a kikay notebook so i will be inspired to take notes (yes, in the past, i buy nice notebooks so i won't get tired of taking down notes. unfortunately, it is always a ningas cogon thing, harhar.) when i got there though, the training materials come with a notebook. darn! i used that one na lang. i'll just reserve my cutie notebook for other purposes.

classes are held at the up issi, where we used to pay our tuition fees. this is the building where one can confirm the "university of pila". haha, those were the days. :) arden's my classmate, yipee! pero di ko siya ka-group (darn!). but anyway, it is still nice to have a classmate whom you know already. he at least gave me a little confidence boost.

it is just unfortunate that we started during the summer, so the up eating hotspots are closed!
arden wanted to eat at beach house, but no sign of life when we passed it. we had no choice but to eat at casaa (we were with oliver, one of our classmates). out of all the stores, only 1 was open. university of pila once again. but i missed bowl and platter's chicken roll!!! it was an okay meal but it brought back memories of college. it was quite surprising that after 8 years, the same food establishments are there. business must be good! i wonder what their secret is? maybe that can be my case study in the course, hehe.

hay, i missed UP really. imagine, i studied there for 15 years. gosh! 15! so tagal! pero ako lang ata ang estudyanteng hindi nakakain sa mang jimmy's. oo na, weird ako. :P can't wait to go back next week. :)
