yey, i finally booked a designer! :) and its none other than edd sy! yehey, i'm so happy! :) our visit to his shop was really fun and he's very very nice. he's been my mom's friend when his shop was still in lakandula. and now i'm very happy that i'll get to wear my dream gown!
at first he had doubts with the design and asked me to stand up. then he said, "a okay, kaya mo namang dalhin 'to, okay naman ang katawan mo. akala ko wala kang balakang e." ayoooon, e yun lang ang meron ako e, haha! :) then he asked his assistants to take my measurements, and then when he saw the results, he said, "kaya mo bang gawing 25in. ang waistline mo?"
wahahahahahaahhaahahhaha!
"26? 26 and a half?"
wahahahahahahahahahahaha!
ok, sige, pagdasal niyo akong maigi. :)) i'm once again swearing off rice. my deadline is august 15 for re-measurement, so please help me on this endeavor. alam niyo naman, madali akong matempt pagdating sa pagkain! :P then september 19, first fitting ko. excited nako!!! btw, my package includes na all wedding accessories, even my veil, na sabi niya ay hahabaan niya na kalahati daw ng miraculous medal ang sakop. talaga ha!!!! i hope so. :)
he also modified the design a bit, kasi daw super plain daw, dadagdagan daw niya para mas mukhang sosyal. hahaha!
si hun naman, i'm thinking of getting him a tux, kasi sabi na rin ni tito boyet (edd sy), he will look great in a tux. pag-iisipan kung kaya ng budget. he's kinda expensive kasi e. :O but i know hunny will look great nga. and we're thinking to have the guys all wear barong na lang. but still have to discuss thoroughly with hun.
aside from our attire, he helped me choose tela for our moms, and my entourage. ayun, sobrang tagal namin kakakonsulta ko. ang dami kasi niyang suggestions, he was very very helpful even in other aspects such as caterers, hmua, etc. hay, so happy. :)
ang worry ko lang ay dahil my saturdays are taken up by my classes in UP, wala na akong time to do all of my wedding planning! i just realized that saturday is the best time to do all of our planning coz lahat sarado na pag sunday! :( and hindi ko naman puedeng pag-leave si hunny during weekdays lagi! :( i'm really really very sad! we can't even finalize our wedding rings (due this may!). kung up to september 20 pa 'to, that leaves me with very few time to do everything! and that means too that our pre-cana seminar will be pushed back to late september to early october! :( darn. hay, so help me God.

i suddenly missed the times when i was preparing our wedding. nakaka-toxic talaga that's why i highly recommend that you get a coordinator.
my cousin's wedding gown designer was also edd sy. :)
